The Founder Kit

Every Founding Member receives a numbered physical kit: a cast metal Bingecraft token, a letterpress welcome card with your edition number (yours alone, 0001 through 1000), a vinyl sticker pack, and presentation packaging. One per Founder. Ever.

No Supporter benefits. No higher AI cap. No feature unlocks. Founders is a one-time gesture of support — every feature in Bingecraft stays free for every user, forever.
How it works
- 1Pay $99 via Stripe Checkout. You'll be assigned the next available serial number atomically — if two people complete checkout in the same second, the database decides the order, never overcommits.
- 2Receive a welcome email with your serial number and a secure link to enter your shipping address. The link is valid for 14 days. Your name on the certificate defaults to your account name; you can edit it on the address form.
- 3We ship in batches. Once 250 Founders have claimed, we run the first production wave and ship to everyone in that wave within ~2 weeks of hitting the milestone. Founders past #250 ship in subsequent waves as the program fills. Tracking info shows up in /settings/founders the moment your label is generated.
Why do you need my money?
Running Bingecraft isn't free. Every recommendation, every push and email, every database query, every realtime update costs real money — and the people building this need to eat. None of that is venture-funded. It comes out of pocket today.
The long-term plan is to sell anonymized aggregate engagement data to TV studios. Studios spend a fortune trying to guess what their audience actually watched, dropped, rewatched, and theorized about. We're sitting on exactly that signal — at the show level, never the user level — and packaging it into reports they'll pay for is how Bingecraft stays free for the people who do the watching. That's the model. We're not hiding it.
But getting there takes runway. Studios won't pay for thin data. We need enough users, enough tracked shows, and enough engagement depth before any of it is worth selling. Founder dollars buy us the months it takes to reach that scale without cutting corners on the product or stuffing the app with ads.
We're not going to blow it. The cap is 1,000 slots — $99,000 max, ever. That's a deliberate, small-batch number. It covers infrastructure, a few months of focused dev time, the physical Founder pins + certificates, and a modest cushion. No private jets, no growth-hacker hires, no "marketing budget." The roadmap is public in the app's commit history. If we're spending your money on something dumb, you'll see it.
The fine print
Capped at 1,000 slots, ever. Once the program sells out, that's it — no second batch, no expanded cap. The serial range is fixed. Refunds inside the 14-day window release the slot back to the pool; refunds after 14 days don't.
14-day refund window. Full refunds within 14 days of purchase are auto-approved (per the same policy as Supporter). Outside that window, refunds go through admin review; physical fulfillment costs may be deducted.
Shipping billed separately. $99 covers your Founder slot, pin, and certificate. Shipping is calculated to your address at fulfillment time and invoiced separately — Shippo's exact rate, no markup. We ship worldwide. If your address fails validation we'll email you to confirm; your slot stays reserved while we sort it out.
Founders is independent of Supporter. Becoming a Founder doesn't grant Supporter benefits, and being a Supporter doesn't reserve a Founder slot. If you want both, buy them separately.
Privacy + the data-share model. Your status as a Founder is recorded against your account, your mailing address is used only for fulfillment and never shared, and anonymized aggregate engagement data continues to be how Bingecraft stays free — same as every other user. Toggle anything at Settings → Privacy.
