How affiliate links work on Bingecraft
Bingecraft is a free TV-tracking app. Some of the “Watch on…” buttons on show pages take you to a streaming service through an affiliate-tracked link. If you sign up or purchase through one of those links, the streaming service may pay Bingecraft a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Your price is the same whether you click through our link or go to the service directly.
Plain-language version
Some Watch links earn us money. Right now that’s primarily Amazon Prime Video purchases via the Amazon Associates program. As we add more services (Apple TV+, Max, Paramount+, etc.) the list will grow.
It’s never required. You can go direct to any streaming service. We don’t hide content or features behind affiliate clicks, and our recommendations aren’t weighted by which network pays the best commission — that would be a different product.
We don’t track you across the internet. When you click a Watch link we record the click locally so we can attribute commissions and improve the product. Cookies set by the streaming service belong to the streaming service. Our click record respects your marketing analytics consent preference — if you have it off, the click is logged without your account ID, only a session-scoped pseudonymous token.
Affiliate revenue is one of three ways Bingecraft pays its bills. The other two are:
- Anonymized aggregate engagement data shared with TV studios — never your name, watchlist, or forum posts. Detailed at Settings → Privacy.
- Voluntary user contributions — Supporter ($4.99/mo) and Founder ($99 one-time, capped at 1,000).
All three are optional from your perspective — you can opt out of the data share, you don’t have to be a Supporter or Founder, and you can ignore every Watch link. The app stays free either way.
For the record (FTC 16 CFR Part 255)
Bingecraft is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an affiliate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
For users in the United Kingdom and the European Union, the equivalent disclosure language under the UK ASA Code and EU consumer protection rules applies: this site contains affiliate links from which Bingecraft may earn a commission.
